Celebrating Jupiter and Saturn ~ 11 Dec 2020

Earlier this year one of my SkyScraping readers sent me a picture of the mountains in the Zhangye Danxia National Geopark in China. I was so struck by the photographs that to celebrate Jupiter and Saturn in Aquarius, I purchased use of a couple of those photos to share with you in hopes they will be similarly gob smacking to you! Notably, this geographic region seems to symbolize the battle between Gonggong - now a fully vested dwarf planet in your solar system - and Zhurong. A battle in which Gonggong was knocked on his butt and banged his head on the world, causing the tilt of the Earth’s axis. In viewing these photos, it’s evident how when coming out of a deep meditation the symbolic association of the myth applies and aligns within a view of the mundane.

While awe-inspiring and evocative on their own, these pictures further support the upcoming passages of Jupiter and Saturn in Aquarius. Why? Uranus the ruler of Aquarius revolves on an axis tilted 98 degrees from the reference plane of our solar system. The Earth rotates on its axis with a tilt of only 23.5 degrees. Adjustment and alignment are required to accurately perceive the communication of others that possesses perspective and slant unfamiliar to your own. Have you ever noticed when Aquarians engage in deep discussions with others that either the Aquarian or the engaged party frequently tilts their heads? It’s sort of like needing to bend enough from ones point of view to be able to see the other, more “radical” point(s) of view.

Cool. Here come Jupiter and Saturn skipping right down the lane delivering a conjunction smack dab in the holiday season. Jupiter and Saturn in Aquarius, no less!

No, this is not the commencement of the Age of Aquarius. To be technical and fussy about that, the Age of Aquarius lies likely a few human incarnations yet to be had in the future. However, this is a time when the median orbiting planets of the solar system, and the two largest planets to boot, join together in a balance of expansion and contraction. How far do you dare go while considering all safety checks, budget and practical reality? More, what good can what you intend to do offer to the planet and by extension, the solar system, galaxy, galactic cluster and the Totality of it All?

Should this sound lofty and profound it is. The Jupiter-Saturn conjunction personifies the beating of a heart. The heart expands, then contracts. In the process, blood pumps everywhere and life is supported in the body. This conjunction reeks of the scent of emotional and purpose-drawn lifeblood. It is time to dare. It is time to stretch. It is time to imagine beyond and over all previously known horizons. It is time to stake a claim in life, then do everything within ones power to extract all the amazing essence of that claim.

Certainly quirk runs within this conjunction. For anything rendered to the world, there needs to be a twist. A totally profound tagline. A new slant on the same thing. An integration of life’s ironies. Something that offers emotional enthusiasm to consumers that serves a profound purpose and does not fall within the auspices of fad. As it’s been said in the movie business, give me the same thing, only different.

Where to start? Well, since Saturn is about to change signs, go back through the last Saturn sign passage (two and a half years) - of course, this one peppered with conjunctions with Pluto and squares to Eris and Mars. What did you whinge about? What were your laments about people, places, philosophies and things that blocked your patch forward? What did you bitch about and think, “Someone should do something about that?”

Now Jupiter also shifts his signsake here in the coming days. What good ideas came your way in the past year or so? What agendas appeared, regardless of apparent prohibition by Saturn and complication by Pluto and tormenting by Mars?

Stir those Jupiter and Saturn reviews and thoughts generated by those reviews into a pot that possesses no interest in calling the adjacent kettle black. While Mars traverses the last degrees of Aries through pretty much the first full week of 2021, add high heat. It goes without saying that constant stirring is required when high heat is applied. This is like making tapioca. Careful heat is added and stirring is perpetual in this process. Then, like Mars going into Taurus in January, the pot is removed from heat. As cooling occurs, the tapioca coalesces. Yum.

It’s exactly like this with Jupiter and Saturn. The ingredients of each must be added to Aquarius and its noble, “this has to become a better world” aspiration. The heat’s on. Diligent and constant conscious attention must be applied in the cooking process. The time is one of culinary consciousness - there’s a lot to be cooked up. There is so much good that can be done by those who dare to go beyond the beyond. From now through March activity and energy applied to previously stalled aspirations receives support to go further than ever before. This is a profound time... and portends that with many applying the best of their consciousness that in virtually no time, a new awakening of “Wow! This is profoundly better!” can align with the Jupiter to Neptune conjunction in Pisces in April 2022.

Sounds like a movie you can’t wait to see, right? That it is. In the meantime, go to the photographs at the start of this post. Come June 2021, Jupiter stations just short of a conjunction with Gonggong in Pisces. A major seeding of inspiration that traverses and includes multiple cultures and beliefs occurs. On January 18th, 2022 Jupiter again conjoins Gonggong. Synthesis abounds. The distinction between how light bends around things is up for major consideration. People might shift from the obsession with self-reflection into self-refraction. Hmm. That’s an abstraction worth mastication.

Bracketing this Jupiter-Gonggong alignment, visually personified about, are the array of Saturn in Aquarius to Uranus in Taurus squares. Perhaps, therein occurs the application of all the essence one extracted during the upcoming Jupiter to Saturn conjunction. There’s only one way to find out: Ponder, Perceive and Place those Profound Perceptions into the melting pot of collective consciousness.

More soon... to polish off what has been a most remarkable year.
